Next, select the Free up Server Space feature. It helps you delete the migrated items from the AOL mailbox online without logging in to your account.
Using the Skip Previously Migrated Items option, you can leave the mailbox emails you migrated earlier. So, tick this option to migrate only new AOL emails.
Select the Migrate or Backup emails without attachment files option. It allows you to download only AOL emails and exclude attachments from migration.
If you have too many emails in your AOL mailbox leading to an oversized PST file, tick the Split PST file option and define the file size. It will create multiple PST files of the specified size.
After that, the set backup schedule feature helps you autostart the AOL backup. Select this option and define the date, time, and frequency.
The Mail Filter is a date range filtering feature. By enabling it, you can create a backup of emails belonging to a particular date range. Tick the option and enter a suitable Start Date and End Date that specify the date range.
You can also give a custom name to the folder containing the resultant file. Tick the Custom Folder Name option and assign the desired name to the folder.
Next, click on the Path to Save button to assign a custom saving location to the resultant file. By default, the destination path is Desktop.
At last, click on the Convert button to start the migration as per the defined features.
The tool processes your request. The time taken for the backup depends upon the size of the mailbox.
After completing the process, you will see a pop of completion of the process. Click on the OK button.
After that, you will see the backup report. You can download a CSV file of this report by pressing the Download Report button.
Also, you can click on the Convert Again button to repeat the process for other file formats or email clients.
To migrate your emails to a Gmail account, follow steps 1 to 4. After that, perform the below procedure to successfully migrate your emails.
Select the Gmail option from the list of file formats and email clients.
Now, enter the login credentials of your Gmail email account. Fill in the appropriate Gmail email address and third-party app password. Click on the Sign-in button.
After successfully signing in, choose the add-on features as per your requirements. Select the Remove duplicate item option to eliminate similar AOL items from migrating to the Gmail account.
The Maintain Folder Hierarchy option is enabled by default. It keeps your AOL mailbox data in the correct order after migration.
The Free up Server Space option will delete migrated emails from your AOL account. Opt for this option to leave sufficient space for new emails.
If you want to export new AOL emails, tick the Skip Previously Migrated Items option. This feature helps you leave emails that you migrated earlier using this application.
Next is Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment files option. By enabling this option, you can avoid email attachments from exporting to Gmail.
After that, select the Set Backup Schedule option to schedule your AOL migration. Tick this option and define a particular date, time, and frequency for backup.
The advanced Mail Filter option allows you to backup emails of a specific date range. Enable this date range filter and fill in suitable Start Date and End Date to define the date range.
Tick the Custom Folder Name option and give any particular name to the folder containing the migrated AOL emails.
At last, click on the Convert button to initiate AOL migration to your Gmail account.
The tool will initiate the migration as soon as you press the Convert button. The time taken will depend upon the size of the mailbox.
After finishing the backup, click on the Download Report button to download the migration report.
