Follow the below steps to migrate Amazon WorkMail Mailbox

Download and install the CloudMigration AWS WorkMail Migration Tool. Run it as administrator.

Now, provide the required login credentials of your AWS WorkMail account and click on the Sign in button.

After that, the application fetches your mailbox data.

Now, you will see a tree-structure preview of your AWS mailbox folders.

Choose the required items from the mailbox preview and hit the Next button.

After that, you will see the main migration screen of the tool. Here, you can choose all the options related to mailbox migration.

Below are the steps to backup your AWS Mailbox locally into PST file format

Expand the Save/Backup/Migrate As field to choose the destination file format or email client. Select PST from the list.

After that, tick the Remove Duplicate Mail on basis of to, from, subject, bcc, and body option. It will skip duplicate email items from migration based on the mentioned parameters.

The Migrate or Backup Email without attachment files option helps you to migrate emails without their attachments. Enable it if you do not want to migrate email attachments.

For automatically migrating emails on a regular frequency, enable the Set Backup Schedule option and define the date, time, and frequency of backup.

If you want to download emails of a particular date range, tick the Mail Filter option and set the appropriate Start Date and End Date.

Similarly, enable the Task Filter feature and provide a suitable Start Date and End Date.

The Custom Folder Name option allows you to give any desired name to the folder that will store the resultant file. Tick this option and provide the name in the field.

For customizing the saving location of the output file, click on the Path to Save button and choose any particular location. By default, it is set to Desktop.

At last, click on the Convert button to start the AWS migration as per the defined conditions.

The application will initiate the migration. It will take some time to complete the backup depending on the size of your AWS mailbox.

If you want to migrate your AWS WorkMail data to another file format or email client, click on the Convert Again button.

First, perform steps 1 to 6. After that, follow the below procedure to migrate AWS WorkMail emails to Gmail

Expand the list of file formats and email clients in the Save/Backup/Migrate As and choose Gmail.

Now, provide the email address and app password of the desired Gmail email account. Click on the Sign-in button.

After successfully logging in to your account, you will see Gmail in the Save/Backup/Migrate As field.

Note: If you want to change the destination email account, you need to click the Sign-out button to log out from your Gmail account.

Enable the Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment files option. It will exclude email attachments and migrate AWS emails only.

The Set Backup Schedule feature helps you to automate AWS Migration. Tick this feature and define the appropriate date, time, and frequency.

Mark the Mail Filter option and provide a suitable Start Date and End Date. This option helps you migrate emails between the Start Date and End Date.
